    LD 200N100 - Compact high-energy Load Dump generator
    Load Dump pulses simulate a sudden battery disconnection (e.g. by corrosion) from the alternator. The lost of the battery load causes the alternator generates an overvoltage impulse. Such Load Dump pulses are having high energy pulses with a high potential of destruction. EMTEST LD 200N100 simulates these high energy pulses with duration of hundreds of milliseconds.  
    EMTEST LD 200N100 generates the Load Dump pulses as per ISO 7637-2 Pulse 5a/5b, ISO 16750-2, SAE J1113, SAE J1455, JASO and many manufacturer specifications, e.g. Ford, Chrysler, Renault, PSA, NISSAN etc. By means of a built-in clipping circuit, LD 200N100 also generates clipped load dump pulses as per international standards and manufacturer requirements.

  • Benefits

    EMTEST LD 200N100 includes everything necessary to execute fully compliant load dump tests. It generates the required high-energy pulses as required by ISO 7637-2 and many other international and car manufacturer requirements, pulses in by capacitor and coupling network. The decay of the waveform follows ISO 7637-2:2004.
    LD 200N100 is a tester including a 60V/100A DC coupling/decoupling network but still can be easily integrated into a complete ISO7637-2 test set-up.
    Pre-programmed standard test routines allow highest user convenience. The FreeStyle mode allows user to easily generate individual Load Dump pulses setting time parameters and peak voltage as required.
